Continuing Advocacy on Roads to Recovery

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Steering committee;
  • A steering committee person is someone that has had to deal with trauma within their lifetime, whether it was them that had the traumatic event or someone they were close to. Some that understands the frustration of services, healthcare, or self-preservation. Someone that can provide input that will be presented before a board of directors, so the board can help the agency to provide services that will relieve the frustration and improve the quality of life of the person and their families. A commitment needs to be made to attend one meeting a month with the committee, and one meeting a month with a sub-committee.
